The metal beasts sprint angrily along the white line.
ReplyDeleteAbandonless in their suicide gallop,
the pavement is their medium,
on which they paint their story of rage and freedom.
Two of the monsters ride quietly alongside each other,
two strangers in a first encounter.
One begins to accelerate slowly,
and the other matches it.
Soon they are traveling at immense speeds,
with a desire to do nothing but prove their dominance.
The rain begins to fall.
The animals lose their hold on the ground,
and collide as they hurtle through space.
Far away, they skid to a halt,
injured and with wounded pride.
Their drivers are dead.
